About The Department
Historically, the field of Electronics & Communication Engineering is one of the most important engineering disciplines that have changed the most of the world. Electronics and Communication Engineering is concerned with the design, development and application of electronic devices, circuits and systems. Electronics and Communication Engineering puts greater emphasis on understanding of fundamental principles and state of the art knowledge about Electronic Devices and Circuits, Computer Architecture and Microprocessors, VLSI and Embedded systems, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Analog and Digital Communication, Digital Signal Processing, Microwave Engineering and specially Wireless Communication. The department has well-qualified most of them are graduated and post graduated from Govt. Institutions and experienced faculty with a healthy student to staff ratio of 15:1. Out of which 1 is Doctorate, few are pursuing Ph.D and remaining are Post-Graduates. Faculty members have their own credit in technical papers published in National, International Journals and Conferences.
Vision & Mission
The vision of the department is to establish itself as a center of excellence in terms of research and teaching and to imparting quality technical education, innovation and teamwork for developing inclusive and sustainable technology in the area of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
To equip the students with strong foundation of basic sciences and domain knowledge of electronics and communication engineering, so that they can apply their knowledge to the solution arising in their career path.
To train the graduates for attaining leadership in developing and applying technology for the betterment of social, environmental and economic growth of the society
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was established in the year 2006 for UG program with initial intake of 60 to meet the needs of the emerging electronics, IT industry and research. The main focused areas of the department are Antenna theory and design, Signal and Image Processing, Wireless Communication, VLSI Design and Embedded Systems. The department has MoUs with leading IT Industries for training as well recruitment.

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) in accurate has consistently maintained an exemplary academic record. The greatest asset of the department is its highly motivated and learned faculty. The available diversity of expertise of the faculty with the supporting staff prepares the students to work in global multicultural environment.
This course of engineering covers the major fields of electronics like Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Systems, VLSI Technology Design, Microprocessor and Micro controllers, Microwave Engineering, RADARs, Digital Communication, Satellite Communication, and Mobile Communication apart from basic subjects.
The graduates of the Electronics & Communication Stream have been selected by some of the world’s leading corporations & as well as by most of the leading Indian counter parts. We hope that we will continue to deliver our best to serve the society and mankind. It is also expected that our students will continue to pass-on the skills which they have developed during their stay at this department to whole of the world for a better society.
